UA Member Contributions

UA’s Seventh Tradition states: Every UA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. This means that only people who consider themselves members of UA should contribute. In keeping with U.A.’s Seventh Tradition, UA accepts contributions from UA members only.

Some of the items that a UA member’s contributions support include:

How to contribute to the General Service Office (GSO)

GSO contributions are not a substitute for contributing to your local UA group

GSO appreciates contributions directly from UA members but does not want to diminish contributions to local UA groups. Our local groups need contributions to pay for basic expenses like rent, utility bills, coffee, refreshments, and U.A. literature. Then after covering basic expenses, the group may decide to send money to the General Service Office.
