On Nov 22 & 23, there will be a UA GSB Special Convocation to bring together the fellowship, consider a motion for Reunification, and ratify the UA GSB, Inc. Trustees.  Please spread the word! 

All UA members are invited to participate, but the final voting is reserved for GSRs only. We hope for the attendance and participation of as many UA GSRs as possible, in order to represent a fellowship-wide group conscience on a pivotal issue – and the highest ranked GSR-generated Topic of Consideration in the spring of 2025.

The motion to go before the UA GSRs asks whether the UA WSC shall advise the UA GSB to initiate reunification:

1. Motion Statement: The WSC Planning Committee moves that the UA GSB World Service Conference advise the UA General Service Board to initiate and actively pursue a formal process of reunification with the world service level entities represented on the WeAreAllUA.org website (also known as the “WeAreAllUA service body”), with the goal of restoring one unified UA fellowship and service structure, inclusive of all UA meetings and members worldwide.

Times:     Sat 11/22, 11:30-3:30pm ET
Sun 11/23, 2:30-7:00pm ET 

Day One:

Day one of the Convocation will address the schism with an application of steps 5 through 9, possibly to include questions like:

•     What is it like to experience this schism?
•     What is our vision for healing around the schism?
•     What would healing and amends look like?

Day Two:

Day two will ask participants to explore the practicalities of reaching out to the other side, possibly to include questions like:

•     What is your vision of reconciliation between the two trustee bodies?
•     What is your vision of reconciliation between the two World Service Conferences?
•     What is your vision of financial reconciliation between the two sides?

There will be structured time for reflection and discussion of the motion in order to harmoniously hear all sides, to consider minority opinion, and to come to an understanding that truly reflects the group conscience of our UA fellowship.
